Summary
How to prepare first aid, resuscitation, workplace-safety, and infection-control training records assigned in CareCard.
These guides explain the certification and training records currently represented in CareCard's requirement catalogue. Your assigned requirement controls the course, provider, evidence, and date rules that apply to you.
Standard First Aid Certificate
Prepare a workplace first aid certificate and confirm the current Ontario course name.
CPR HCP or BLS Certificate
Prepare the professional-level resuscitation certificate named in your requirement.
WHMIS Certificate
Prepare general WHMIS training evidence without confusing it with workplace-specific instruction.
Worker Health and Safety Awareness Certificate
Prepare proof of Ontario basic worker awareness training.
Public Health Ontario IPAC Modules Certificate
Prepare the current infection prevention and control course certificate your program requests.
Before you register for training
Read the assigned requirement before paying for a course. Confirm the exact course level, accepted provider, delivery format, and completion deadline with your program or placement. Similar course names are not automatically equivalent.
When you finish, keep the complete certificate showing your name, the course and provider, the completion or issue date, and any certificate number or expiry date. CareCard catalogue defaults are tracking rules; they do not replace the certificate's own terms or your placement's instructions.
